Soil drilling

Drilling is executed to determine the environmental hygiene of the soil and to determine the structural quality of the building. The purpose of the drilling must be determined in advance.

If necessary, monitoring wells can be placed in the boreholes to determine the quality and behaviour of the groundwater. The direction of flow and the speed of the groundwater depend on the permeability of the soil layers. Drilling operations are prepared and executed with the necessary care and caution.

The preparation

  • Requesting of plans for cables, piping and sewerage for well drilling and ground drilling in public areas
  • Distance measuring of the drill points with the client
  • Use of cable detection equipment and/or pre-drilling/pre-digging prior to the soil drilling
  • Eventually, in consultation, moving the drill point for the soil drilling if the upper layers are too full of rubble and cannot be drilled without mechanical tools
